Dessau welcomes its guests with all manner of differing attractions. Since the Bauhaus moved to Dessau in the 20s the town is accepted as the capital of the modern age. Walter Gropius' Bauhaus together with the Masters' Houses are now included on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage list. Many people want to see these buildings at least once in their lives as well as the other Bauhaus buildings throughout the town:
